I was talking to Heike last week. She edited my book, Multitribal Indians in Search of No Man’s Land. I told her that I was now blogging. She took out her smartphone and had a look at my blog.
It needs an Impressum or legal notice site, she said. So I checked out google’s AI and chatgpt this morning. It seems that this is required for commercial sites in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Since I do not sell goods or services or advertise to generate revenue. I am not a foreign entrepreneur, nor do I use the site for commercial purposes and profit. And as most people from German-speaking countries are not going to be interested in American political humor or the Chickamaugans I pray that I am exempt from this requirement.
